Welcome to Valley Isle Road Runners

Valley Isle Road Runners in Maui, HI
The Valley Isle Road Runners (VIRR) were founded in 1970, a nonprofit organization administrated by a non-paid volunteer elected Board of Directors.

The mission of Valley Isle Road Runners is to promote running and support a vibrant running community on the beautiful island of Maui. Proceeds from races, sponsorships, and membership fees are used to support and develop community programs and running events that the VIRR produces throughout the year, including youth events and sports scholarships and sponsorships listed below:
Kraig Vickers Honor Run
Yamamoto War Memorial Stadium - Track work open to the public
Youth Cross Country Championship Races

The Valley Isle Road Runners Association represents Hawaii running at its best and is both a pioneer and pacesetter, serving the running community of Maui over the years.
